I love attention, well doesn't everybody, except I like the attention that people give me which I think is different, I buy silly things in an attempt that people will look at me in a weird fashion and think that either I'm on drugs or I'm trying to make a statement towards society...
Take for instance the bracelets I bought about a week ago, a lot of people were noticing them, some thought they were girl bracelets and some didn't see the concept behind them at all because I don't (in fact) wear jewellery. But I bought a pair of chrome flight goggles which is widely known to people that watch a lot of anime. But I thought 'hmmm wonder if that look would suit me, it's different' so I bought them and I personally liked them and in starting to wear them, my dad hates them and don't see why I'm wearing them and I keep getting looks from people like 'what the f*** is he wearing?'
Another reason that I don't see a problem with them is that a lot of people get tattoos of a lot of pointless stuff, some religious but the person is not, some tribal, England is not a tribe and that isn't symbolic etc... Etc... We as an English population hardly have any culture so people are jus getting stuff like tribal and Chinese and religious tattoos for the sake of it so I'm jus following a trend like a baseball cap or them hats that dappy wore with those strings, jus I'm making my own trend... My question to you is... What do you think?
P.s the bracelet thing is going good 4 days and I haven't swapped wrists :£

This Is different!
This ain't gonna be a normal blog by me, I woke up this morning and woke up happy, who knows what it could be to be honest! I don't really care tbh...
I have a lot of things to do today and I wot bore you with it, but gonna try and gets nice bracelet to try and get a more positive mindset and get rid of all this negative mood which I only blog about.
The idea goes that you where this bracelet for 21 days, trying not to think negatively about anything... Now if you do you jus put the bracelet on the other wrist and start counting the days over again.
Supposedly to help you have a better lifestyle and way of thinking I thought I might try it :)
Probably keep posting how I'm getting on with it.
Much love

8 favourite tracks 13/03/12
So I was reading a blog on www.alexdaymusic.com and realised that I haven't even told you guys about the variety of music I listen to, which is pretty weird allot of people ask me what kind of music I like and although allot of people say "oh, i like bit of everything really" which is bullshit cause they wont listen to Mozart or electronic violins, whereas i have in the past, I don't so much now but guaranteed that on my Ipod there is something you will like, but here is a list of 8 songs that i cant get bored of at the moment and what they mean to me in no specific order and the playlist is most played shuffle, enjoy;
1. Stupid hoe - Nicki Minaj
I have no idea why I like this song much, the lyrics make no sense but its just one of those songs that cheer me up cause it makes me smile how much that this woman does not make sense... it has no value to me its just funny lyrics... although I thought it should be the Jeremy kyle soundtrack just saying.
2. Time to reply - Charlie McDonnell
Although this guy is an amazing you tube artist he just creates songs because he likes it not for publicity or money just because he wrote it which i think is amazing, but to the song, it just sounds amazing cause the chords are in the correct places, the lyrics are amazing and confusing. there was alot of debate about what he meant when he wrote this, people saying it was about leaving you tube, or about a girl, which is what i got from it but I guess songs mean different things to different people, I suggest giving it a listen, a very enjoyable song that I'm not getting bored of any time soon.
3. Cant say no - Conor Maynard
Very idealistic song, for a lad with plenty of swag he don't talk about getting 'bitches' or 'hoes' using his diverse look into music he makes a very urban beat but he doesn't use it to make him think he gets all the girls around he does the complete opposite and sings about not getting anyone, which I find that it reaches out to the public alot more and it also has an amazing beat, he gets accused of being the British Justin beiber which he says he isn't because he has a different type of genre when it comes to music and plenty of Youtube original artist are being found and brought into the spotlight nowadays anyway.
4. You always make me smile - Kyle Andrews
What a lovely song to make a summer and seeing as we had a few nice days this has been constantly played through my ears, it just embraces life and love at the same time and to me its the perfect combination, plus awesome lyrics which makes you smile and you cant help yourself but sing along to it while you walk along the streets... definitely one of my favourites throughout the years and many years to come.
5. Holding on - Alex Day
I have been listening to this song for quite sometime now, few years to be honest and the album which it is from is 'Parrot stories'. truly a real love song in my eyes, all about finding your love and learning so much about them and what love actually means and what you would do (hence the title) also relates to me personally cause it has my star sign in... I know that's not relevant but if you do anything then buy this song, its only 79p and its probably the smartest buy you will do this week.
6. Want You Back - Cher Lloyd
Not a special song but I do like the beat and the artist herself, the song is basically self explanatory, talking about wanting an ex back cause they miss them and the things they did before, but obviously the ex doing it with the new partner, which is fair enough cause relates to alot of people that have fucked up in the past and regret it. don't like the Astro bit cause he looks too young to even know what a girlfriend is.
7. Better Not Waste My Time - N-Dubz
A very chav song to listen to obviously, but i like N-Dubz, not only are they understandable (sometimes) in there songs, I like how they put there verses into certain sections which can relate from 3 different points of view, Dappy being the lead then Tulisa doing the woman's point of view then Fazer (I think that's his name) is doing it from the follower of Dappy which is really nice following in someone's fame. plus it about knowing who should be in your life and who shouldn't. wouldn't recommend it unless you can stand rap to be honest.
8. Ass Back Home - Gym Class Heroes
A song I really do like cause I like Travis McCoy alot, not only is he a rapper I can actually understand, totally underrated for an artist, song to me is just really nice cause even though being really busy and you know that your partner is at home waiting for you, you know you wont be back any time soon (that's what i get from it anyway) and they know they can trust each other which is what you don't see alot in a relationship, you know seeing as this is 2012.
Like i said before these are what i think of the songs and im not sure whether to do this again or not, may do it once a month but let me know what you think :)

Retro games!
I've been asked to talk about retro games, I mean not only is it a good subject to talk about but it also raises a good point; which is better retro or modern?
It actually would depend on the gamer itself but were not on about you lot were on about me. That's why your here right?
Now as a gamer myself who would spend hours on end on both of these timelines of pleasures I gotta outway the pros and cons of this.
New games wreck old games, such as sonic (does he really need to be a werewolf or be king Arthur in his games, jus let the cute bastard collect his rings without touching a bee) no reason to overdue these classics with shitty story lines just to make money. Another point of this is Pokemon, not being funny but there will only be 151 of these guys in my mind... Now I don't know how many there are and I don't care about new types of Pokemon and gym leaders but for god sake at least keep team rocket, those guys never won!
New games can seem much better for gaming than old ones seeing as there more realistic, there's more genres out there and the storyline helps to continue gameplay for the player which reaches out to more gamers out there! Take modern warfare series for instance obviously brilliant graphics and better responsive mechanisms (if that's the word lol) but even the storyline itself is as gripping as an emotional storyline like when soap dies at the end of MW3, not gonna lie, a tear did drop from my eye <3
But on a serious note some games have actually brought some people together and it shows within the generation aswell... I remember watching my mom (the puzzle solver) and dad (the gamer) absolutely smashing the original resident evil games which I thought brought us as a family together (me and my brother used to watch) and now it's a whole different story, I'm showing my dad how to play the new resident evil aswell as showing my mom new puzzles on games which are mind boggling.
What I'm trying to say is that even though they both have great points about both generations... It's nice to have a variety: what's wrong with playing abut of halo odst and then turning on the Nintendo 64 and playing Mario for an hour or two? Nothing really...
Personally I prefer smashing my friends score on mega jump and temple run which are on my iPhone LoL enough with the ranting!
P.s I'm starting a mailing list which you can sign up too if checking websites regularly isn't your thing...
So jus send an email me on s.devereux@live.co.uk with the subject as a smiley face and I'll email you my ranting whenever there is a new post online :)

Kony 2012
So I was looking at Facebook as you do on a normal night after babysitting when I seen a link posted on my news feed which my friend highly recommended, as curious as i am i clicked on it thinking it was only a few minutes long... but then it was 30 minutes long and I'm glad I did watch it... although it tells a lot about how much as a nation... sorry the public of earth can pull together it also makes a very good point in the fact that a single person can make the difference before you read the rest of the post please watch this and hopefully you will see what i see
Here is the link, all you need to do is scroll down to the video http://www.kony2012.com/
Now that you have watched the video, I AM going to join this pledge and try to get it to the UK so that something can happen if the US can create a mission due to the Americans voice then I'm pretty sure our nation alone will do something about it, I mean isn't that what our soldiers fight for? we got rid of many warlords in our time and we need to get rid of this one so the only way we see children with guns is through laser tag or water fights...
joking aside, I have contacted Jason Russell to try and get him to set up a UK site so we can get the aid kits and to start the poster thing on April 20Th 2012 around the UK, although i am a voice that only contributes to this blog, i reckon i should do more so will 2012 only change the world? only if you help :)

Dead celebrities
Today's discussion is about dead celebrities... The reason being is that a lot of the greats are dying lately; Amy winehouse, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson etc...
But why do they have so much attention drawn on them when they get accused of so much shit when they were alive, lets take the king of pop for example, for years he was accused of being a child molesture and because of this reason a lot of his sales went down the toilet it ruined his relationship with other people and he lost a lot of fans due to the accusation. Now I didn't believe at one point that he was a pedophile I just found the jokes hilarious and all I am guilty of is laughing and passing them on as I do about everyone and everything.
Now that he has died I find it hard to believe that people now wish they listened to him more and that he wasn't a pedophile at all. This is absolutely stupid, if you thought he was a pedo or not he was an amazing artist and he did not only deserve the title of king of pop but he also brought new things into dance and also changed a lot of people's way of life due to racism and committing to the actually mind about people opinion. (kinda like what I'm doing)
The point I'm trying to make is that you listen and you care for people in there glory If they don't make music anymore then listen to there old stuff if you don't even remember an album of theres then please stop posting RIP all on your fb and twitter. I have only done it for mj cause I was brought up on his music and teachings even though he was a very confused man but that's for another post :)
Much love
